Past Events – here’s what you missed:
Tuesday 22 August 2017 – All Aboard Boat Discovery Day at Time & Tide Museum: Crafting History woodcarving artist Jill Brewster joined us to create new name plaques for our fishing boats. See them in our Changing Tides exhibition next summer (May – Sept 2018).
Saturday 9 – Sunday 10 September 2017 – Maritime Festival: Located in the ‘Heritage Hub’ alongside Norfolk Record Office and the GY Heritage guides, the museum showcased some of it’s maritime collections and allowed visitors to get creative with various maritime related craft activities.
Saturday 9 – Sunday 10 September 2017 – Heritage Open Days: A weekend of celebration as our three fishing boats went back on display to the public following their vital conservation work.
Saturday 30th September – Following the Fleet: Drifters at Seachange Arts, Great Yarmouth. Internationally renowned beatboxer and sound artist Jason Singh performed his astonishing live vocal score to John Grierson’s 1929 silent herring fishing documentary DRIFTERS shot on the Great Yarmouth quayside. Staff from Time & Tide were also there with a ‘pop-up museum’ to showcase a selection of maritime objects from their collection. http://www.followingthefleet.com

Saturday 16th December – Great Yarmouth Minster: Pop-up Museum and crafts at Great Yarmouth Christmas Tree Festival.
Wednesday 14th February – Tesco Extra: Pop-up museum with fisher girl photo boards
Saturday 24th February – Coleman Opticians: Pop-up Collections Station
